As part of an effort to secure and restore peace in Zamfara State, Governor Dauda Lawal is seeking a better synergy. between the police & the government.
In a separate meeting with the Inspector General of Police and the Commandant General of the
Nigeria Security, and Civil Defence Corps, (NSCDC), Governor Daudu is seeking new operations in the troubled communities.
At the Corps Headquarters, Governor Lawal was received by the Commandant General, Dr. Ahmed Abubakar Audi, mni, OFR.
The Governor applauded the NSCDC for the enormous contribution they have been providing in securing lives and properties in Zamfara State.
“He expressed satisfaction with the role of the NSCDC and the discipline of its officers in the State.
“He also commended the Commandant General for providing quality leadership and also sought synergy between the Corps and the State”.
Responding, the Commandant General described Governor Lawal as an August visitor, adding that the NSCDC would continue to maintain a cordial working relationship with the State Government.
Meanwhile, Governor Dauda Lawal was also at the Force headquarters where he had a closed-door meeting with the Inspector General of Police, Kayode Adeolu Egbetokun.
The Governor discussed with the Inspector General of Police extensively the security of Zamfara State.
