The Federal Ministry of Labour and Employment has issued a response regarding the fourteen-day ultimatum presented to the Federal Government concerning the demands of the Nigeria Labour Congress and its counterpart, the Trade Union Congress, focusing on workers’ welfare.
Minister of Labour and Employment, Nkeiruka Onyejocha, addressed journalists during a news conference in Abuja, highlighting that the Federal Government has commenced the execution of the agreements made with the workers.
Furthermore, the Minister affirmed the initiation of dialogue with the labour unions to avert the imminent workers’ strike.
