Trump Declares End of “America’s Decline” in Momentous Inaugural Address

“The dawn of a new golden era for America begins today,” proclaimed Donald Trump, addressing the nation moments after being sworn in as the 47th President of the United States.

At the age of 78, Trump secured his place in history by taking the oath of office for an unprecedented second term on Monday, promising an aggressive rollout of orders targeting immigration policies and addressing cultural schisms in his latest push to solidify his transformative agenda.

Standing beneath the towering Rotunda of the U.S. Capitol, Trump raised his right hand while resting his left on a cherished Bible, passed down to him by his late mother. The solemnity of the moment underscored the gravity of his return to the presidency.

“Today, the golden age of America begins,” Trump declared with conviction, addressing an audience that included four former U.S. presidents, notably his immediate predecessor, Joe Biden, alongside Kamala Harris, Biden’s former vice president.

“We shall stand as the envy of nations worldwide. With unflinching determination, we will prioritize America above all. Our sovereignty will be reclaimed, and the imbalance of justice will be set aright. Let it be known—America’s decline is over,” he proclaimed, eliciting roaring applause from his supporters.

During his address, the Republican leader recounted surviving an alleged assassination attempt, a testament, he said, to his unwavering resolve to “restore America’s greatness.” He emphasized that his administration would remain anchored in faith, declaring, “Under my watch, America will not forsake God.”

In his inaugural remarks, Trump set a resolute tone for his administration, signaling the advent of an era defined by assertive leadership and an unrelenting commitment to reestablishing America’s dominance on the global stage.
