Kano to Markudi in Benue State lost control, according to Kabir Nadabo, the Kaduna State Sector Commander of the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC). The incident occurred around 11:20 am at Tashar Yari area, where thehi driver’s inability to maintain control over the speeding vehicle resulted in a tragic crash into a ditch.
Preliminary findings from the investigation attribute the accident to overspeeding, emphasiziùng the urgent need for road safety measures. Kabir Nadabo highlighted that out of the 20 individuals involved, 16 lost their lives, while the remaining four sustained injuries.
