The Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has announced a temporary suspension of the access gate toll at Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport, Abuja. This measure, designed to mitigate the inconvenience caused by ongoing infrastructure upgrades, will be effective from January 24, 2025, through February 7, 2025.
In an official statement issued on Saturday, the management outlined that the decision was aimed at alleviating the vehicular congestion plaguing airport road users during the construction phase.
“We sincerely apologise for the disruptions caused by the ongoing development activities. Our commitment remains steadfast in ensuring that every road user enjoys an unhindered and seamless travel experience,” the statement read.
This temporary suspension underscores FAAN’s efforts to prioritize user convenience while executing necessary enhancements to the airport’s infrastructure.
