Nyesom Wike Embarks on Abaji Road Construction Venture

Amidst the prevailing economic challenges including food inflation and Naira devaluation, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Nyesom Wike, implores Nigerians to exercise patience with President Tinubu’s administration. This plea comes during the commencement ceremony of the Naharati-River Ukya-Unguwan Hausawa 5km road construction in Abaji Area Council.

The Naharati-River Ukya-Unguwan Hausawa road project in Abaji Area Council marks the fifth commencement in a series of road infrastructure endeavors across area councils in the Federal Capital Territory. Spanning a distance of 5 kilometers, this road initiative forms part of a broader endeavor aimed at bolstering infrastructure development throughout the territory.

Olusegun Olusa, the overseeing director of the Satellite Town Development Department at FCTA, delineates the recent projects initiated by the Federal Capital Territory, underscoring the administration’s unwavering dedication to enhancing road infrastructure in diverse communities.

The Chairman of Abaji Area Council, Abdullahi Abubakar, alongside the traditional leader, expresses optimism regarding the potential of the road construction project to ameliorate conditions and stimulate agricultural activities in the vicinity, thereby fostering the socio-economic prosperity of residents.

Following the exchange of goodwill messages, the Minister takes the platform to address the populace, stressing the importance of patience with President Tinubu’s administration amidst the prevailing economic adversities. He provides reassurance to the community that the challenges will be resolved expeditiously.

Subsequently, accompanied by esteemed dignitaries, the Minister proceeds to inaugurate the road construction project. He pledges that all area council road construction initiatives will reach completion by the conclusion of 2024, underscoring the government’s steadfast commitment to enhancing infrastructure and facilitating development in the Federal Capital Territory.
