The Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) reports a surge in Nigeria’s oil production to 1.427 million barrels per day in January, marking a substantial increase from previous levels. This rise, the highest since March 2021, signals a notable rebound in the country’s oil output, as per the latest data released.
The monthly oil market report from OPEC indicates a significant uptick in Nigeria’s crude oil output, with an increase of 91,476 barrels per day observed in January.
