OSUN CIVIL SERVICE REFORMS

Governor Ademola Adeleke has announced the extension of the tenure of the Head of Service, Elder Samuel Ayanleye Aina, until 2026. This decision aims to deepen and conclude the ongoing reform and revitalization of the civil service in Osun State.
 
The approval of the tenure extension was conveyed to the Head of Service through a letter signed by the Chief of Staff to the Governor. The letter cited the constitutional powers conferred on the Governor regarding the appointments of top civil service officials.
 
Acknowledging Elder Aina’s dedication to efficient public service and productivity, the State Governor commended his successful implementation of various public sector reforms following gubernatorial approvals.
 
Governor Adeleke emphasized the importance of strong discipline and teamwork among top officials of the civil service. He directed them to maintain these qualities to ensure the seamless implementation of the administration’s five-point agenda for the state’s development.
