President Bola Tinubu on Tuesday held a crucial security meeting at Aso Villa, Abuja, with the nation’s top defense and intelligence officials. The closed-door session was led by the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, alongside other key figures, including Inspector General of Police Kayode Egbetokun, National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, and Director General of the Department of State Services, Oluwatosin Ajayi.

Although the official agenda of the meeting was not disclosed at the time of reporting, it is widely speculated that the discussions centered on the prevailing security challenges across the country.

As deliberations progressed, Senate President Godswill Akpabio and Senate Majority Leader Opeyemi Bamidele joined the high-profile gathering at the President’s office. Additionally, Speaker of the House of Representatives Tajudeen Abbas and his deputy, Ben Kalu, were seen in attendance, underscoring the legislative arm’s involvement in security deliberations.
