Over twenty thousand tree seedlings of different species have been distributed to survivors of the Boko Haram insurgency in Adamawa state.
With normalcy gradually being restored, the Michika local government area is now faced with the problem of deforestation due to human activities such as indiscriminate felling of trees and clearing of lands for farming activities which affects the environment.
The distribution done by residents in the state is to combat climate change, flooding and improve the livelihoods of residents of the area.
